Design Supervisor - University of Iowa

Sept 2007 - Present

Assist in leading student staff in the creation, preparation, and final production of successful design projects and promotional campaigns for University Life Centers/Iowa Memorial Union and outside clients. Interview, hire, supervise and review the performance of staff including the recommendation for change in status.

Designer - MetaCommunications

Aug 2003 - Aug 2007

Manage all company design projects from concept to successful completion including corporate and product branding, printed marketing collateral, advertising, presentations, signage, and trade shows. Manage company website daily and have lead redesigns for multiple product launches. Responsible for hiring in-house and freelance designers and coordinating schedules and activities on a number of successful projects. Work as design consultant with engineering team on all software application interfaces and user-interaction design.

Design Intern - Iowa Energy Center

July 2002 - July 2003

Responsible for the creation and success of various company projects including the 2001 and 2002 annual reports, quarterly publications, informational posters, facility signage, technical illustrations, exhibition booths, facility logos and identities, and web site design. Requested to remain with IEC in part time capacity after completing internship.
